2018 ACTION PLAN PROPOSAL
Public Information and Consultation pursuant to art. 8 of Legislative Decree 194/2005 “Implementation of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of noise pollution”.
Legislative Decree 194/2005 “Implementation of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of noise pollution” places an obligation on companies and bodies managing public transport services, or related infrastructures, to draw up acoustic mapping and action plans for major roads.
In compliance with the requirements of article 8 of Legislative Decree 194/2005, paragraphs 1, 2 and 3, regarding public information and consultation on the Action Plans, SALT SpA publishes the Proposed Action Plan for the A12 (Code IT_a_rd0001500), A11 (Code IT_a_rd00015002) and A15 (Code IT_a_rd00015003) highway sections on its institutional website and also provides information by means of notices in daily newspapers.
The Action Plan identifies noise pollution problems, their effects, and the actions and interventions that need to be carried out to control said noise pollution, starting with the analyses already carried out in the Noise Mapping, which assesses the noise levels produced by the highway infrastructure.
It should also be noted that, anyone may submit, starting from 21/05/2018 for 45 working days in a row, written comments and memos using the following methods:
Registered mail with return receipt to the address of the Technical Department at “SALT Società Autostrada Ligure Toscana p.a. – Via Don E. Tazzoli 9 – 55041 Lido di Camaiore (LU)”, indicating on the envelope the following or in the subject line the following “Action Plan 2018-2022. Observations pursuant to Legislative Decree 194/2005”.

The deadline for proposals and comments from the residents is 05/07/2018.
Comments received will be considered when developing the final version of the Action Plan.
Pursuant to art. 4, paragraph 8, of the same Legislative Decree, the Action Plans implement and update the noise containment and abatement plans drawn up pursuant to the Decree of November 29, 2000, which the Company sent to the competent bodies and whose first draft (relating to the period March 11, 2011-January 1, 2014) was approved by Decree of the Ministry of the Environment pr.2011-0000029 of March 11, 2011.
On January 15, 2013 SALT S.p.A. presented the second part of the plan (relating to the period January 1, 2014 – December 31, 2018) which still needs to be approved by the Ministry of the Environment.
The Communication Report can be consulted on the site, which in addition to summarizing the key steps of the course of the project that led to the definition of the Remediation Plan interventions, the data provided by the Manager to the Competent Administrations and the approval aspects, reports the status of the Plan implementation and the mitigation interventions planned for the period 2018-2022.
Using different symbols, the plans depict the mitigation interventions foreseen by the Action Plan in the period 2018 – 2022, the mitigation interventions realized also in occasion of the previous Action Plans, the mitigation interventions with ongoing authorization process.
According to paragraph 6 of art. 3 of the abovementioned decree, in June 2017 the update of the Noise Mapping was carried out and forwarded to the competent Bodies related to the year 2016 for the highway route A12, A15, A11/12 Salt Liguria Tuscany section, and in order to facilitate its disclosure to the public, as required by art. 9 of Directive 2002/49/EC, SALT S.p.A. makes it available on its website.
